Not to worry, I have been working hard on Kate-Kate's blanket. Okay, Okay, not as hard as I should be, I mean I'm cheating a bit.
The sewing machine somehow snuck out and landed right on my dinningroom table and took the liberty to SEW Kaitlyn's squares!
Yes, that's bad, BUT I hate to seam anything, I figured...with my hectic schedual, sewing would go much faster. I'm sewing as
they come in...which works out perfect.
Guess what, Mom, is going to knit one too...oh, and her twin as well (kaitlyn's auntie). I cannot wait to receive those, something simple I imagine, but something extrodinary for little Kate!
Again. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! I'm a little behind on the drawing, I will make it a point to draw an envelope and post a picture of what the item(s) will be. And and extra special thank you to those who helped out with knitting extras!...you ladies are a true blessing.

I have been receiving packages daily, though I'm still short...if anyone can, please send more...plllleeeese, thank you.
On the otherhand Kailtlyn's blanket is coming together wonderfully. I will post a progress photo soon, I've just been so busy.
Thanks a million to those that are still knitting and to those whom already sent squares. Don't forget to go and visit Kaitlyn's Journey, daddy gave us an update, and a wonderful video of Kailtlyn.

I decided to go ahead and dedicate a site especially for the Project Warming Kaitlyn project.
I know you all are probably very busy, seriously knitting all kinds of beautiful gifts for family and friends, but today I'm asking YOU to help me knit something very special, for a spectacular little girl. Her name is Kaitlyn, she's beautiful and soooo full of life, no matter what defeats she has to conquer. Her mom, Heather and dad, Eric are the authors of Kaitlyn's Journey.
Okay, so, thing is she loves the color "pink" and "everything girlie". Dad explains mom is a "knit-o-holic", but since Kaitlyn's diagnosis, she hasn't had much time to knit. I want to turn Heather's passion/hobby into a real life piece of art for their little sunshine (aka, Kaitlyn:o)
What I need from you:
Are you in?? Please say yes:o) If so, email me or leave a comment and when you are done I will send you my mailing info.
Edit to add: One person had asked if she could you silk....of course...high end luxury yarn is GREATLY appreciated...silk...cashmere...etc. Also if anyone knows how to make those linky buttons, please do so, and pass on the word...I'd make one, if I knew how. Thanks again! You guys are great! Keep those emails rolling in!
Heather, if you are reading this, and if you can, I would really like to have you knit one too. You are free to design it anyway you want...you know Kaitlyn the most:o) Thanks Heather.
